Thus “Heroin and cornflakes” was borne out of the absurdity of a world ruled by profit. A profit that is allowed to exploit our children without moral restraint. A profit that laces products with candy (cigarette) and sugar (cereal) in order for our children to become addicted. A profit that allows the world’s children to starve whilst its beneficiaries accumulate vast wealth. These beneficiaries include politicians and statesmen who circumvent all means of equal distribution of wealth and resources. “Heroin and cornflakes” aims to highlight these discrepancies and crisis through the written word.
