How Shall I Exist Tomorrow?
http://www.existtomorrow.com
Hi there. My name is J. Anthony Holloway.
I’m a nihilist at heart. Burdened, one might say, by the acceptance that everything I know and see are an illusion perpetuated by Maxwell’s Equations and the body’s variety of sensory receptors, such as olfaction and photoreception. And since the collective unconscious is the accumulation of inherited experiences, I am and always have been a product of my past and present…nothing more, nothing less. Oh, I’m also a writer.
So what’s the deal with this weblog? Well, Franz Kafka once complained: “If I shall exist eternally, how shall I exist tomorrow?” I’m attempting to answer this question. Hopefully it wasn’t intended to be rhetorical.
In short, this blog should be viewed as my portfolio; absurdist writing for the 21st century. If my syntax seems verbose, full of non-sequiturs, and laden with elipseses…I’ve done my job.
Enjoy!
