This is my way of asking you to join me in saying fuck you to the status quo, join P.A.G.A.N. (PEOPLE AGAINST GOODNESS AND NORMALCY)

Why be against goodness? Its not that we are against being good as much as we are against the bullshit you try to serve us in the name of goodness. So what if I fuck? So what if people are gay? So what if I like punk rock? These things (along with many others) don’t effect you in any way, they just offend what your warped belief in goodness is, & since you won’t tolerate these little things that take little effort to tolerate, we say fuck you! This isn’t an open invitation to be an ass hole. This is us living our life the way we choose, and we didn’t choose to have retarded moral hang ups. I’m going to sleep in on Sunday to be spared the lies that you learn. I’m happy that you enjoy waking up early on Sunday to learn about fairy tales & the Lord Of The Rings, so when I’m up late Saturday drinking a beer, doing a stage dive, & taking part in group sex afterwards don’t give me any shit. You think the things that I do are just as dumb as the things I think you do - I know that, you know that, we all know that. In both of our opinions we do foolish things, they don’t hurt you, & they don’t hurt me . . . well some of your faith-based legislation actually does hurt me, but that’s better left for another conversation.

Why be against normalcy? Why the fuck not? The bourgeois mentality of just following blindly is leading us nowhere. Doesn’t it bother you that it’s normal to not give a fuck about the environment. Doesn’t it bother you that it is normal for children in other countries to know more about American history than kids in America? Normal is not giving a fuck unless it effects you right now . . . later, forget about it, you’ll worry about that later! Normalcy is the asshole who doesn’t want his tax dollars to pay for a school because he doesn’t have any kids. You were once a child lets not forget, those same children will be paying for you when you’re a senior citizen, you normal ass hole! Normal is not seeing that sometimes things are not black & white, they can be a shade of gray. Normal is dismissing something, not because you disagree, but because you know nothing or little about it. Normal is supporting a war you know nothing about, & dismissing those that opposed it & now, a few years after the fact, saying that maybe it’s not such a good idea. You voted for that fucker Bush, normal person. It is normal to not care, and that to me is not fucking normal.

Why Join? Because it’s the answer to the dumb questions - Why do you care? Why do you think so much? Why must you question everything? Why do you analyze everything? You want to know why? I’m a fucking P.A.G.A.N, so fuck you! There is no initiation. All you have to do is think, care, & not follow the status quo. You don’t want to join a bunch of hippies, well we’re not hippies! Hippies were a bunch of sell outs who cared because it was cool. If the majority of hippies were truly peace & love types who cared, do you think that a conservative ass hole would have ever been elected in this country after the sixties? Do you think it would still be illegal to smoke pot? There is no initiation to be a P.A.G.A.N & no membership, all you have to do is be one. You determine if you’re one or not.

How did you come up with the name P.A.G.A.N? Why the name P.A.G.A.N? Well, I wish I could take credit for making up the name P.A.G.A.N, but I can’t. This name was lifted from a funny movie called Dragnet that starred Dan Aykroyd & Tom Hanks. People Against Goodness And Normalcy was the "bad guy" gang that was made up of punk rockers, bikers, metal heads, & other assorted heathens. Because this also came from a comedy, I thought it was fitting for the kind of person I am. That brings me to the question - Why P.A.G.A.N? Well, I am not a Pagan & I don’t believe it’s bad to be a Pagan, but through time it’s assumed that Pagans are bad even though no one knows anything about them, kind of like us. It’s like when someone makes the smart-ass remark about us liking skulls & saying we’re wannabe pirates. I think of the Jolly Roger as a smart ass symbol, and you think I’m the bad guy. Well look here motherfucker, I’m waiving the bad guy flag, so fuck you! This also goes for why do you & everyone you know where black t-shirts? It’s not a conscious thing, but the "bad guys" traditionally wear black. You think what I like is bad, fuck you again. I’m sure by reading this it doesn’t take to much to realize this is just another way of saying fuck you to those who need to be told fuck you, so with that said if you are one of them, fuck you!
