I found this etsy shop called moontea. She makes cute pouches, totes, and art but the thing that I liked about her handmade crafts is that she uses her own screenprint fabrics....

I was wondering if anyone knew of any magenta and gold fabrics with a raised damask print?

I love your blog's name, i-heart-fabric. I knew I had to leave a comment, as soon as I read the title.

You see my husband and I are currently backpacking around the world for the next year or two. Feel free to follow us, www.nomadbackpackers.com

We can only carry so many clothing items in our small backpacks. So, each item counts a lot! We left the states with one pair of pants each. Upon arriving in New Zealand, we realized we each would benefit from an additional pair of pants. However, after about a month of owning my new pants, the fabric has seemed to get pilly. Feel free to read about my problems http://www.nomadbackpackers.com/2009/01/12/not-all-columbia-products-are-created-equal

My pants have 6% elastane and I am not very familiar with this element in fabric. If you know anything about it, or wish to educate us "uneducated fabric individuals". Feel free to comment on our blog and share your ideas or insight.

Thanks again!

I'm looking for a fabric from Northcott Silk Inc from around 1998. A floral print of dark pinks, lavenders, blues, yellow/orange. Flowers are lilac, yellow daisies with brown centers, dark pink rose buds, purple petunias, blue petunias with dark pink centers, multi colored pink/blue hydranges. Can anyone help me? I can e-mail a picture of what I have of the fabric. Would like to have 2 yards.

my taste is more in to stronger colors but i can learn from you.
I just saw the site of Amy butler, who makes fabrics in the midwest.
Very woman, good taste!

There are Indian hade printed stuff using vegetable dyes on hand made silk and cotton, exquisite artwork but being hand made the quality may not be uniform in mass production.
