Singapore Airlines is only just "OK." The movie choices are great! But the food is dreadful, the wine is the worst I've ever had on an airline and the cabin crew are typically not very friendly.
I admire and love Singapore Airlines for its impeccable records and caring atttiude towards its staff and passengers.

About juicy cabin crew or flight attendant stories of Singapore Airlines.
News for and about flight attendants from around the world.
A journey though the skies at 35,000ft with a gay male flight attendant.
Dear Sirs
Re Stolen Baggage
Thank you for your offer. It is totally unacceptable.
For the record you have offered less than 10% of the value lost. Amere $400 for in excess of $4000 lost /stolen by your staff.
You leave me no choice but to now refer this to our Thai lawyers for appropriate action(as above).
They are cc'd accordingly.
I note that the ticket was purchased in Bangkok from SIA and I checked luggage on to an SIA flight. Despite your attempts to push this to SilkAir, SIA is clearly responsible.
Thailand is the appropriate venue.
The level of incompetence and disregard for the immediate needs of a customer ,the victim of at worst theft and at best negligence by SIA is disappointing.
I intend to now blog this as a warning to prospective passengers about what they should and cannot expect from SIA.
I should add that your offices in Lombok and Singapore were universally incompetent, unhelpful and on the telephone, arrogant.
I was left in Indonesia for meetings with no clothes, medication or toiletries.
The attempt to locate my luggage and many items stolen was zero.
I made numerous written, personal and telephone requests.
Regards
Michael Brereton
