Dorothy LafrinereGood day....I enjoyed the reality checks that your posts deliver. You are correct in the fact that people cannot conceive of certain situations unless they are personally involved. Is that not where the saying "Walk a mile in my shoes" came from?
We can neither admit to or pretend to understand someone else's pain or experiences unless we have, "walked a mile in their shoes"!
