Thank you for your site. The rugs are gorgeous and your insights helpful. Can you please give advice on a flokati rug? It is genuine from Greece bought in the 1970s. It had gotten discolored so I soaked it in boiling hot water and OxiClean for a day and a half. That was a bad idea. Now it has rust stains, perhaps from my water. I then applied bleach water which had no effect. After rinsing the rug very well and setting out to dry, the underside of the rugs are gummy and gooey where the rust stains are concentrated. One part has torn also where the rust stains are the worst. I don't know what this is or how to treat it. Can you help?
