Jiu-jitsu Sensei
http://www.jiu-jitsusensei.blogspot.com
This blog is to record my many training and teaching experiences in the martial arts. I run my own Can-ryu Jiu-jitsu dojo, but I also do extra curricular training in other martial arts to keep my skills sharp and to add to my knowledge of the arts. My posts include information about martial arts theory and technique, self-defense, and training drills, in addition to my personal anecdotes. Oh, and I'm a woman if that's important to you.

\'Jutsu\' vs. \'Do\' in the Martial Arts
In a discussion in the comments section of my last blog post, I stated that anyone who truly embraces an art allows their psychology to be affected by it. I believe this to be true whether it's Jiu-jitsu or something non-martial like poetry or callig...
When Life Gets in the Way of Martial Arts Training
This past month has been a little sad for me as a Sensei. I had about half a dozen students tell me that they're going to have to take a break from Jiu-jitsu this semester because their school schedules are too hectic and they need more time to focus...
