One of the background influences of this blog is G.K. Chesterton whose wit and knack for paradox never ceases to delight me. In addition, it deals charmingly with those famous Chesterton epigones "The Inklings" and from there to a number of delightfully nerdy things: fantasy...the nature of orcs...what's happening in the new hobbit movie.
