Kata Rokkar
http://katarokkar.cribble.net/
Kata Rokkar is Icelandic for Kata Rocks. The name derives from a song by the Icelandic sensation, Björk. No, I’m not one bit Icelandic. However, I’m obviously a huge fan of her work. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved telling people about bands and artists I’m currently into. So I started Kata Rokkar. I grew up in Fishkill, New York and at age 18, joined the United States Coast Guard, which I’ve been working for ever since. I’ve traveled and worked all over the United States and somehow I’ve winded up here in California’s Bay Area.
This website was created mainly because I love discovering music and sharing it with people who love it as much as I do. First and foremost, this website is not about free music and free mp3s. The music on this website is to promote the artist’s work and inspire those who hear it. I suggest that if you like what you hear, buy the artist’s records, digitally or physically. The artists and bands displayed on this website create music for a living and need your support.
