Chronicles of an ingenius and incredibly talented individual named Edreys. The blog features his artwork, his music and his thoughts and perspectives on the world as he see them through his lenses. He has talents that list like the criminal records on America's Most Wanted. He is a visual artist, specializing in pen and ink drawings, oil pastels and acrylic. His drawings are imaginative and surreal at times, with a bold and signature like quality. These drawings adorn t-shirts, custom work on sneakers, hats and the likes, as well as fine prints wall hangings and frameable pieces. He is also a poet, writer and emcee, inspired largely by the hip hop culture, but well rounded with a universal appeal. His poetry branches from his emcee skills, where he effortlessly paints pictures with words, vibrant and full of life, allowing listeners to travel or walk along with him. From bragging style rhymes to narrative street tales on to stories of encouragement and triumph. Edreys is also a producer, with the ability to create a colorful canvas for his words to stick to and complete the picture. He draws his inspiration from soul music, old school hip hop and his ahead of the trend, forward thinking mind. Edreys is also a business owner, as vice-president of Emani Kemet, Inc., a stationery and greeting card manufacturing company, which boasts many of Edreys' drawings and artwork. He also dedicates many hours as a community role model and leader for the youth, where he lectures, and teaches through his art, music and entreprenuerial endeavors.
