Art, and anything odd, unusual, offbeat, weird sciences, wild and whacky. Promote yourself and your artwork on our blog. We will do a feature on you, showcase some of your works, and provide links back to your site. We're inviting talented artists for all forms of artwork, and those that do anything unusual or out of the ordinary. The wilder and more unusual, the better, but we have an immense appreciation for those that show great talent of all sorts.

good day
please consider to convey that message or a similar to your friends....

World Aids Day, December 1
Today in your spare time, remember all of those lives lost to HIV and AIDS. You can make a difference in the global fight against HIV and AIDS. World AIDS Day isn't just about one day. With infection rates continuing to rise globally there is a great deal still to do, so get involved.

HIV is one of the biggest social, economic and health challenges in the world. It is a global emergency claiming over 8,000 lives every day. In fact 5 people die of AIDS every minute.

Young people (under 25 years old) account for half of all new HIV infections worldwide - around 6,000 become infected with HIV every day.

During 2007 more than two and a half million adults and children became infected with HIV. By the end of the year, an estimated 33 million people worldwide were living with HIV/AIDS. The year also saw two million deaths from AIDS, despite recent improvements in access to antiretroviral treatment.

Despite best efforts from governments, non-profit organizations and healthcare practitioners around the world, HIV and AIDS is still having huge global impact.

More than 25 million people have died of AIDS since 1981.

On wingsuits and weird flying gadgets: suppose, just suppose...some guy with skydiving experience researches the history of various glider suits. Now suppose that some dark and stormy night he walks up to the Northwest ticket counter in a dark overcoat and business suit. After a bunch of wierdness the aft stairwell of a 727 ends up open, and a passenger is missing with a bundle of money and a couple of parachutes. What would happen if this guy could glide for miles, and had a larger potential landing area? Would he end up in a mudbank on the Columbia? Would he calmly walk up to a station wagon with a lady in a housecoat and curlers, say 'hi, toots, how 'bout a cuppa joe?',shove a bunch of stuff in the car and ride off into the night?

Could this kind of guy be traced? Maybe someone got something from the library of congress, or the back of Popular Mechanics, or a local library. IS MICHAEL ABRAMS D.B.COOPER? OR DOES HE HAVE THE SECRET STARING HIM IN THE FACE? THE RAMIFICATIONS ARE MIND BOGGLING!!!

But ain't this all fun, and this is a great blog. Now if there was just a cooler name for weblogs....
