Cirque du Soleil’s recent show, OVO, performs at the Portlands on Cherry street (just south of the gardiner towards the water. You’ll see the signs). At first, I forgot about the importance of circus clowns and that the beginning is typ...

I have a friend who told me about this site called in Toronto called moviedaters, and it’s a really interesting way to meet people I think. The idea is that it’s a dating site that matches you with people who have similar interests in movies. I’m not looking right now, but she told me that she met someone there already and she’s already gone on a first date with someone she met there. I think it was Pirate Radio. I like the idea - you know, when you first meet someone, often you “click” with them when you talk about your favorite movies. And movies are a great first date! And it’s a great way to get a conversation started with a stranger besides how big their thing is, like what happens on all the other dating sites, yuck! Like I said, I’m not single right now, but if I was, I’d definitely try it.
