Ever since Lucy was a pup, she has grazed like a cow at times on grass. Not just any grass, but rather, the long leafy variety. For a while I was puzzled by this behavior. Is she hungry? Am I not feeding her enough? Is there a vitamin or minera...

I wanted you to know that I was thrilled and inspired to read your story about Lucy. We have just adopted "crystal" a 9 month old white boxer from the pound. I would like to know more on how you have trained her. we have a large yard but she keeps leaving to visit another boxer down the road. I am afraid of her getting hit on the road !! We are having to put her on a chain for now but that is not how we want her... She is not allowed in the house because of my Husband (He likes her but we have a small dog in the house already) We are going to start tomorrow putting her on a leash and walking the boundry's that she is allowed to go... I would love to get your insite on how to do this correctly. my e-mail is janetjlkhobbs@aol.com we are from Holly Ridge NC and Crystal is such a great funloving dog, I do not want to have to get rid of her and I am not going to let her live on a chain. any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks in advance Janet

Hi Bob
Stumbled across you after you reviewed my blog so thought I'd better check you out - and its like home from home.

I have an 11 mth old rescue pup called Tallis (after Thomas). He's a collie/GSD/Staff cross, so like Lucy, he has a LOT of energy, can be stubborn at times, but is absolutely adorable, great looking and very intelligent.
This is him at 19 weeks: http://www.businessblogangel.com/.shared/image.html?/photos/uncategorized/2008/01/30/bed_and_bone.jpg

And I have a musician partner (Jason) so our life is all about being outdoors with the dog or indoors with the music and the computers.

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for the rating and to share some love with a kindred spirit - and to Lucy too!
