In work with drug addicts that usually start out on marijuana. I have worked with two recently that are addicted to it. One has lost his family and wife because of his addiction. he recently went a week without it and was drug tested and found to be clear. He says he feels a lot better and more able to deal with problems when not using.
The other doesn't even know he is addicted. Its his one topic of conversation. He's waiting to get out of group for his next splif and happily tells me he is.
So for you that can have a social smoke I suppose it is OK. You are supporting and illegal anti social culture but if you are OK with that and you don't get caught at work or by the police, you will get by.
Work testing will be bthe next big worry for you. As firms downsize they will look for ways not to pay payoffs.

I think that it need to legalized. It was only made a illegal when the immigrant population in the U.S.A. was getting so bad. All the immigrants smoked pot so if they made it illegal they could arrest immigrants and put them in jail for it. And back then it was for life. Not a slap on the wrist. So the plan was they don't want to quit , but they did not wish to be prisoners for life either. It was made illegal the first time with the stamp act. Much like on Machine guns, but they never made the stamps. They made it so you could only grow, sell, or own with this stamp. The trick was you had to have pot in hand befor you could get a stamp, but having the pot befor the stamp was posesion so you were mmmF***ed so to speek. The first man that tried to get a stamp was an old farmer. Soon the world caught on and they had to change the law. This was done by using a man that killed his whole family and clamed he had smoked a joint befor hand. The scare made people agree pot is bad. But what they did not tell back then to the poblic was that the man was also schitzophrenic, paranoed, and had many other mintal sickness.
Pot has also been reported to help people with mental problems like bi-pole witch I have, Anxiety, and depression. It also lowers blood pressure. The only time it hurts you is if you are not past puberty, because pot can affect you pituitary gland with can make you produce to much or not enough hormones.
This was all reported on the history channel. so if you don't believe me look it up. So in closing cannabis should be legalized like cigarettes or at 16+ so that it will not hurt children growth proses. But I am an adult and I should be able to take of every seed of the earth, just like god said.

What i dont understand is why the American people are so blind by the “war on drugs”. The mayjority of crime is in relation to drugs. By decriminalizing weed it would bring more peace to the world, boost the economy and save ALOT of gang bangers from shooting each other up over a dime bag. I dont see why a working professonal who smokes weed but still is a college graduate with a decent job in society would be labeled a criminal for smoking something that grows form the earth and poses no general harm what so ever. Legalize it and see the endless possiblilities of world with hope and give everyone a little bit of a sence of humor, maybe then our world would look a little brighter.

In California, people with a valid medical condition can receive a doctor recommendation for cannabis. Even visitors. Of course, they can't take anything home with them and their recommendation will likely only be good in California (until we as a country get our act together) but while here they can possess and use cannabis. That's why we launched Medical Marijuana Discovery tours, in addition to our "hook you up" tours to other cannabis friendly destinations.
