Marisa Wikramanayake is a Sri Lankan born, Australian based freelance editor and writer. She writes the Perth Diary column for the national newspaper The Sunday Leader about Sri Lankan and Australian politics, life in Perth, philosophy and popular culture. Her first book was published in 2001 at the age of 17 and she is currently working on her second novel Sedition. She also writes articles & poetry and has been blogging online since 1998 about her life and her experiences with writing, blogging, editing and freelancing.
