Recent PostsI had my 6 mo. checkup at my cardiologist's yesterday morning. Tom wanted me to mention those 'flutterings', 'spasms', 'baby like kicks' that I continue to get daily and nightly. I didn't want to, as I figured my doctor is a heart doctor and he's...

I will turn 51 in June, but the menopause monster is getting worse every day. I used to be a mellow, easy going person. Those days are apparently over. I feel like I'm losing my mind and the mood swings are horrible. Last evening, I started to prepare dinner for myself, son, & husband. I spilled brown sugar all over the counter, and suddenly I was yelling like a raging lunatic. I slammed a glass down on the table so hard it broke, then I started crying. My ob/gyn gave me a prescription and samples of a new HRT a month ago, but I have to get a blood test before I start taking them, and I'm not sure I want to take them at all. Will they help with these mood swings? I've got to get something to help, and I need to get it soon. Any answers and advise will be read and much appreciated
