Nice blog...i'm very interesting about cancer, not only mesothelioma cancer. Cancer is untouchable rehabilitatiom in my country ( I mean, they only handled by doctor ). The most popular is pediatric (autism, adhd, etc) and neurologic (stroke, etc)..now, I'm trying to make a blog about mesothelioma. My dad has Plueral Mesothelioma. We are researching treatment options (he has already underwent two different types of chemotherapy). We're looking into brychytherapy, tomotherapy, gene therapy, chemoembolization, etc. (things other than chemo). Can anyone give me some insight on these treatments? Any success stories out there?

Last January in 2008, there was a huge fire in the downtown of Maquoketa, IA. I live there. The fire burnt three buildings down where local businesses were established. It was terrible, but the fire fighters came from every community to put the fire out. The businesses had insurance coverage for the cleanup of the fire, but it was then discovered that there was asbestos located on site. One business had insurance that covered this but the other businesses involved didn't have that coverage, so the insurance won't help. Now it is November, nine months later and the mess still sits. Probably through another winter. If this continues to be ignored I fear someone could get Mesothelioma.

To help from Mesothelioma exposure from asbestos in my home town of Maquoketa. Please go to this site: http://maquoketa-asbestos-aid.info/ . Take the time to read the 'about' section of the site as visitors can assist in preventing Mesothelioma problems from occurring in my town. Although this will go down in history as the biggest fire ever in Maquoketa. No one got hurt. I would hate to see a life taken because the insurance doesn't want shell out the cash or the government bureaucracy. Or no one has the money to deal with it. Please take the time to go to this site. Very useful information in this blog. Meso is becoming more frequently diagnosed. The companies who expose their workers to asbestos should carry a load of top rate medical insurance if they want to stay in business. A positive note is the fact that doctors are constantly coming up with innovative and effective treatments, hopefully they will find a cure for all types of cancer in the near future.

Wow that is indeed a very informative blog, I like its simplicity & ingenuity. It provides useful information & latest mesothelioma news that you cannot easily find on Google News either. Another similar mesothelioma website is www.researchmesotheliomacancer.com which provides good cancer research reports that even university students can use to dig more information about this disease.

I'm happy to see that there's a growing awareness to mesothelioma. I think this blog does a really good job of covering the bases. Another good site that I came across was www.mesotheliomahelp.net. I found it to be a little easier to navigate than this page, not to say this one is bad. Good luck in finding the information that you need.
