Accounting jobs are often described as tracking both income, assets, and expenses for a business. There are several different areas that accountants must engage in. Areas such as recording financial transactions, preparation of financial statements, and tax strategy must all be tracked efficiently. Several skills are needed when going into an accounting profession. Analytical skills, communication, and initiative are all important in the accounting field.

In tax accountant, CPA, and auditor positions all involve reviewing accounting ledgers and financial statements. Auditing often involves travel whereas tax accounting is typically done in the comfort of an office. There are several options available when looking for accounting jobs.
