Rayvin and Rob NyteGood advice. It might serve people well to look at their own beliefs about persuasion.
If you believe it's wrong to persuade others to your way of thinking or doing, then perhaps reflecting upon a time when you yourself gave someone a reason, say, for going to one movie rather than to another, might shake you out of it - whatever 'it' is.
People likely can think of a better example.
