Mixed Species is a design collective who came together from rural parts of the Northwest and congealed like the skin on top of gravy. After printing and designing for local, regional and national clients the crazy voices began telling us our own ideas were good ... no BETTER than what we were creating for others. We began to wonder "Why CAN'T we celebrate Bloody Clowns and Thank You Cards on the same day .... NAY ... in the same sentence?" The jackalope is an icon we use as a brand that represents who we are, where we are from and the duality of some of our repurposed products. And that, our new friends is how we became Mixed Species.
