The Azawak is a region in West Africa that suffers from permanent water scarcity. Students around the world are partnering with Amman Imman : Water is Life to bring permanent water sources to this region that 500,000 people call home. The Azawak is located mostly in Niger which is the poorest country in the world. The Azawak is the poorest region in the poorest country in the world.
This blog tracks the stories of schools and students as they collaborate, raise awareness and fundraise, reports on the activities and progress of Amman Imman's work in the Azawak, and keeps those in partnership with this grassroots initiative connected and inspired.
