Learn the best way to Grow Orchids
Growing orchids can be easy. Aside from the vast online sources, common sense, attention and patience will bring you through the amazing experience of orchid growing. The main two things to note when you grow orchids are moisture and light.
Water can make or break your orchid. Remember that orchids are air plants meaning they should have free air circulating around them. If you haven't noticed, orchids are found where there is constant breeze. Stagnant air certainly does not allow drying of potting mixture and foliage. During sunny days it might be necessary to spray mist or wet the orchid house floor to enhance vaporization.
One good indicator if your orchid is getting enough sunlight is the leaf color. Generally, leaves should be a bright green rather than dark green. Dark green means that the orchid should have more light while reddish green indicates possibly too much light. Try to protect the leaves from hard sun with sheer curtains or move it back from the window.
It doesn't take a PHD to grow orchids. With the right sources coupled with dedication, it wouldn't be a surprise to see your orchids will multiply.
