I wanted to write a blog on how important I think it is to have an ID tag for your pet. I have heard so many stories about pets getting loose, and then they end up on the shelter b/c no one knows who them belong to. It sad for the pet and it's sad for the owner. I just got my dog a really cute ID tag. It looks like a little mini drivers license.

Either way, does anyone want to share a success story on how they lost their pet and it was returned back b/c of having an ID tag? Just thought I'd throw that one out there.
I had actually done some web work for Pettags.com which has a nationwide lost pet recovery program which is far cheaper than those programs that surgically insert electronic id tags into your pet. Seems like a good program because it is so large and well known. Anyway, I feel like this is turning into an ok pet group/neighborhood.
