  • Biggest Block to Change

Posted on Monday April 20th, 2009 at 11:48 in Personal Growth, choices, managing change, beliefs

Why are we able to easily change some things and not others has intrigued us to the point of creating a whole self-help industry to answer that question. We have all made decisions or reacted to changes beyond our control with absolutely no problem. ...

We can spend a great deal of time trying to discover the reasons for a particular situation we are in especially if we decide other people are involved. The moment we consider the situation may be caused by others we seem to go on a which hunt. Who d...

  • Unhappy

Posted on Monday February 16th, 2009 at 16:47 in happiness, purpose, choices

We seem to have a consistent and never ending ability to make ourselves unhappy. If we are happy there seems to be a little voice in the background saying it won't last or in some way we don't deserve it. It is part of a protective cover we maintain ...

The posts in this blog are like mental bouillon cubes! Dense and requiring some processing, but ultimately adding flavor to your intellectual processes! Good stuff!

The thing that rings true the most may actually seem the least important...blog placement. How many educational placements are as inspiring as this one? I went here looking for something completely different and became mesmerized with the elegance and beauty of the posts. Inspiring, uplifting and spot on!

Necessary Skills is a blog for everyone who would like to grow as a person- Deep meaningful insight into the mind and thoughts of human kind. The Author, "MindPatterns" is an obvious knowledgeable sage. Wisdom and an extremely diverse range of cognitive subject matter make him a trusted source of wise advice. This blog doesn't fit in any one category (a new breed multi-genre spiritual, self discovery expression of concepts blog). It does however, retain a cohesive theme of ego-free positive inspiration throughout. One of my favorites, this is a must read for everybody, and it will only get better!!!!!

Mr. Haslam:

We were highly moved by your post "Get Out of Jail Card". So many of us carry around baggage from years past that we often forget to acknowledge the fact that we are the wardens to our own prisons. Thanks for the reminder.

All the best... R&B
