Neglected beauty is a blog about finding hidden and unexpected forms of it in nature, including our own backyards. It can be found all around us. It's the volunteer coreopsis flower that blooms through the crack in a sidewalk. It's a secret garden someone lovingly planted behind a 7-11 that no one pays attention to. It's a front yard in the inner city that a neighbor completely covered in silk flowers. It's a stand on the side of a road where people sell their farm grown sunflowers and celosias. Neglected beauty is in all of these places and more. All you have to do is adjust your perspective and you'll find it in ways you've never imagined.
