George Barris got his first break as a photographer photographing Dwight D. Eisenhower in world War II, he then became Eisenhower’s personal photographer. His second big break came in 1954 working as a photo journalist, he was asked to photograph Marilyn Monroe on the set of “Something Got To Give”. His meeting Marilyn Monroe lead to his photo sessions with Marilyn in 1962.
