I get a fair few people asking me what good's coming up in the way of music in Cork so I recently started sending out a slightly sporadic gig tips e-mail. It's entirely subjective - stuff that I think will be good - concerts I'm going to or have a hand in organising.
When visiting other places I often wish I could ask someone 'in the know' what's on - so I thought since I'm taking the time to write the thing I might as well post it up for anyone wanting to suss out the scene in Cork.
I'm into pretty much all types of music but it takes something a bit special to get me excited.
