Barry ShrumA welcome addition to the blog world - the web need more opinion oriented sites such as this. I read your blog on "How to make money with indie music?" - interesting, although I do disagree with you first conclusion that people don't want to pay for music anymore. I think that many people are willing to pay for music, including myself, if it were priced fairly. That's why the Russian-based sites such as allofMp3.com do so well. People want the songwriter and the artist to make money, for example. Frankly, I don't even mind if the record label makes a fair profit - emphasize FAIR. But, I think that 99 cents it too much -- as do most people -- and that's why people are finding other means, ususally free, to obtain their music.
