The happenings of the Oakland Athletics.
Recent PostsI don’t anticipate too many A’s fans walking the plank over this news, but CSN is reporting that former Athletics shortstop, Bobby Crosby, has agreed to a one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Pirates for an undisclosed amount. I remember...
A few days ago, the Oakland A’s announced their minor league organizational player of the year and pitcher of the year. And, based on previous winners, it would behoove us all to keep a close eye on these two. Chris Carter, first baseman, recei...
All right, there’s some action coming out of Oakland Athletics HQ. No, they did not pay top dollar for Roy Halladay or Jason Bay but they did do a couple of nice things: 1. The A’s signed Joey Devine to a 1-year deal. This is a good move ...
With Thanksgiving just past, I felt it was appropriate instead of bemoaning all of the things that could be better or different as an A’s fan that instead I would give some thanks for things I am grateful for. Here they are in no particular ord...

Hello,
I'm writing asking if you'd be interested in participating in a MLB 2009 Trade Deadling Preview which will kicks off July 14th.
We'd like to work with the best team bloggers to ensure this preview can be as accurate as possible.
Here are the guidelines for participating:
Your role is to critique your team with both the postives and the negatives.
Your article must be approximately 300-500 words, it must contain information regarding your teams depth, potential new additions, potential losses and second half prediction.
Is your team a buyer or a seller?
What does your team have to offer the league (what teams specifically),
What does the league have to offer your team
One blockbuster deal
One deal that is most likely to be completed by your team.
It would be nice to see who you think will be called up from the minors
Who you think will help get your team back into the chase or keep them going strong into the postseason.
A link on your blog to your article stating that you participated in the MVN MLB 2009 trade deadline preview with a link to the article. You're welcome to reprint the article with a link back to the rest, a separate, original blurb/article or simply the link and sentence.
We would like to offer you the coverage of the XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Are you interested in participating? We'd love to have you! Please let me know either way.
Your write up would be due by July 16th, 2009.
