Hi, my Dad was wondering who bought the Northwood Estate in Oyster Bay Cove. I told him I would find out...any ideas? Thanks, Megan

I hope this e-mail gets to you. I thoroughly enjoyed your work on Old Westbury. My family acquired the Austin/West estate which was about 52 acres and 6 cottages. We were alonside the Grace/Corey estate on one side and the Henry/Ogden Phipps estate on the other. Our stable area which included a 1/4 mile race track burned to the goound in the early 60's. I recall riding my bike or riding all the way to Northern Blvd or pre-LIE riding over to the John Phipps estate. Our main house and all cottages still stand. The drive way is now called Pine Tree Lane. Thanks again.
