On Teens Today is an expose into the world of the net-generation so parents can really try to understand us.
I tell parents what their kids are really doing online, in school, with friends and at parties. I am now 22 and wrote a parenting book from a teen’s perspective when I was 17 called “You’re Grounded!”
It’s usually impossible to get more than one-word-answers from us, but I try to be honest about real issues that teens and pre-teens are dealing with, so we can finally develop better relationships.
I have decided to break open the door to our SECRET, terribly complex world and let you in. Ok, I am exaggerating just a tad, but I do truly believe that *if we help each other stay informed, we can stay safe, supported and become happier adults.*
I write articles about everything and anything having to do with young people today and have news stories, live chats, advice columns, interviews, tips and exposes—from real teens, for you to learn more about your kids.

A Mom\'s Reviews on everything and anything.
Yeah Mom! News for Moms
Hi, my name is Rachel. I'm 16 and personally? Many teens just prefer texting because you can do it anywhere. Sometimes you're not supposed to be on the phone like in a meeting or when you're in bed. Texting gives us teens an option to A) Wait until later to reply back, B) Immediately reply back, or C) Not reply at all (if you're not on speaking terms with that person)
It's true in the article when it says that it's nothing personal. Texting becomes a habit/preferred way of communication, so communicating anyway else is weird for us.
