YourFINDitI always find something new and interesting on your blog. There is something for every question and the links are useful. It's a great "go to" blog.
Anthony VecchioniI don't think it's a stretch to say that one cool site sets the standard in up-to-date plain English advice for bloggers. I learn something useful every time I go there. Best of all, have you noticed there's no flashing ads? In fact, there's no ads at all. That by itself is worth an orange grove and a half.
DavidHow to build a better blog - that's the description - and it fits. Lots of geeky information and lots of links.
Ken FosheeThis is an excellent blog that all bloggers must read. The author writes many informative posts that help you increase your blog's popularity, keep your content safe from thieves, and other tips. I especially liked the recent posts “How to lose me as a reader” and the “Copyright basics for bloggers” . One tip the author blogged about was the use of broken links checkers. I never knew about those!
Very informative, well written, and well organized. Highly recommended!
rfburnOf all the various blogging help/tips sites cataloged on BC this is the best of them without a doubt.
When I've something that has me scratching my wee little mind so far as my blog is concerned I go to Timethiefs blog.

Arcticulates1. Content(writing styles, etc.)
The content in this blog is rich in information about blogging, how-tos, why-nots, and better-nots... It is very well written, well researched and full of information in just about every aspect of blogging that I can think of. I have used this blog to help me in several areas on my blog, and will use it again and again.
2. Colors (eye-catching, blends, etc.)
I love the colors used on this blog, even tho it is full of technical information on blogging, the color choices takes away the harshness that can be associated with blogging helps. It isn't all black and white... even if html is...lol!
3. Fonts (Background contrasts, etc.)
The fonts used on this blog are very easy to read, they are large enough to be easy on the eye, and they are used on a background that doesn't' detract from the words written. Very nice!
4. Layouts (orderly, theme etc.)
The layout or theme chosen for this blog seems to fit it to the T... meaning very well. It is set up so that you can see all that is available to the reader with just about one glance. I love the comments section included. The whole style is clean, crisp and inviting at the same time.
5. Navigational (working links. etc.)
The links are in top working order on this site. I admit that I didn't check them all, but I did enough to know that they Blogger is very consistent in making sure they are in working order.
I have used this blog time and again to get answers that I can understand. Sometimes blogger help blogs are hard to understand with all the technical jargon, but the author here seems to be well aware of that, for which I am thankful for. It has helped me in many areas, and I highly recommend it to others.
Wonderful! Thank-you!
~K Fields

Robert LoosemoreI was impressed by the clarity of your general advice on blogging, but need to know so much I am afraid to ask. My background is photography and design - I care about clarity, humour and serious thought, not one of these is much good without the other two. if you have time try to point me in the right direction, and we can exchange support at least. Bob
Me-Me KingI have been applying many of the excellent tips this blog has to offer. And, within a matter of a few weeks, I have experienced a significant increase in traffic. Well written and easy to understand, I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't benefit from such expert advice.
Five Stars!
SwasBossReally like your theme ... came across your page by your awesome comment about how to attract readers AND keep them. Number one ... was to evaluate your theme. I have been a tarski user for some time with some limited changes. Might make the move to the theme you are using with some similar changes. I have been looking for something fresh all weekend ... thanks for helping me find it :D
ArgosTruly a fantastic site, with many tips and hints that might improve blogger's experiences. Try them out! :)
MichelleBrilliant site filled with valuable information for bloggers.
I now use 2 sites to get information about blogging, 'Problogger' and 'one cool wordpress' And I'm not even a wordpress user. I use blogger/blogspot but I was searching for info on how to promote my blog and I was reading through the new BC users group and I clicked through to one cool site wordpress.
I am spending a lot of time on the site reading the posts. I would recommend it to both blogspot and wordpress users.
Timethief is a valuable BC user who is always trying to help new users in the forums/discussions.
Fantastic stuff and the website looks great too, it is so easy to navigate around.
Timethief, I appreciate your knowledge and advice.
ZatakiVery informative, I definitely will be coming back again. I plan on trying some of your tips this weekend.
deonitaThanks for the tips... this site is nice and the content of the blog was very helpful
VIKAS GUPTA1. This blog by timethief is a wonderful resource for WordPress users and other blogggers. It is very organized, very helpful and quite exhaustive. It does not overwhelm you with information unlike many other blogging help sites. It is very comprehensive yet focussed, direct and lucid. You cannot not visit this site! 'One Cool Site' is sine qua non of blogging! Believe me, it is 'your' loss if you do frequent it! WordPress forums are full of instances where Timethief has helped other bloggers find their feet and this blog is the collection of her wisdom. I felt like I had a personal tutor tailor-made for my blogging needs and there is no reason why you'll not have the same feeling about it.
2. It is indeed 'one cool site'! The blog has a very smart look and aesthetic feel; once there you feel very cosy and comfortable and don't feel like getting out. You feel special in more ways than one!
3. Timethief is a very sincere woman; her heart is in the right place ( and may I add that her husband is the world's luckiest man!). She acknowledges and replies to all the comments and gives you honest, thoughtful suggestions. This is despite the fact that she is indisposed (she suffered a serious injury in mid-2008:fibromyalgia). Needless to say, her commitment and energy levels are worth emulation. There is no gainsaying that if she were not injured, she and her 'One Cool Site' would have given other bloggers and writers a run for their money! I wish her and One Cool Site godspeed.
P.S.: Her personal blog at www.thistimethisspace.com is another commendable blog on personal development, growth and relationships.
Sophie Le CuicheOne of the best resource blogs for anyone looking for help with blogging and making money online.
Easy to understand and down to earth blog, this is going to become one of my regular must-read blogs!
Ken (and Mags)I am in awe of this site.
As someone who worked with IT users for several years, and is now back on a steep learning curve with blogging, I really appreciate the fact that information is presented in such a simple, understandable way, yet it never makes me feel stupid or patronized for my ignorance.
Timethief's generosity, both on her own blog and her contributions to discussions, is amazing.
dekaeasy to read and a great resource for new bloggers
RussellGreat blog and one worth spending some more time reading - some great points here and a lot of thought and time has been put in tothese articles.
TrevorTimeThief offers a wealth of information on SEO, social media, networking, and a number of other concepts that will help anybody (novice or expert) with the marketing of a website.
Thanks for the great information, and keep up the good work!
Julius OriasI just visit your site and add as my one of my favorite blog, this is great info. to a new blogger online.
Tanveer NaseerThis blog is a wonderful resource for learning the ropes to becoming a highly effective and successful blogger. Not only does it provide great tips, but it goes that extra distance of providing the rationale behind why these tips work or improve your blog.
Thanks timethief for a wonderful resource. :)
Scott RoseA fantastic resource that gets better and better with each visit.

Diana FreedmanThis is an excellent blog, filled with TONS of useful information for bloggers, both new and experienced. The author is passionate about the topic and genuinely cares about helping her readers succeed, and it comes across in her posts.
The articles are easy to read and understand, and the author's tone is really entertaining. It's easy to navigate through the blog and find what you're looking for. And there's so much content to find. Great job!
ryanRead just one of the articles and loved it! Timethief is a wise person!
Kathryn SkaggsExtremely helpful to someone who is new to WordPress and needs to know the most important things to focus on...
mizdemeanorindeed a cool site... funny how my first impression of u changed when i read your posts.. ( at first i thought u are really just a time thief.. u steal all the time from those discussions veering away from the topic and making the thread just tooo long for the benefit of an argument... pardon, but that's how i saw it..anyways.. uve got all my respect now.. bow.
AswaniThe best ever site you will find. Extremely useful !
gagaykeep all those great informations..it helped a lot!

Ari LestarionoTimethief, thank you so much for educating me in blogging techniques, I appreciated very much, you are very knowledgeable.Your site is reflecting as an expert and professional blogger.I love to chat with you....
warm regards
Hyderabadiz TeamSorry dear, I can rate only 5. Reason: BC has meltdown too.
And, this coincides with what I am reading 'Ten Causes of Social Media Meltdown.'At each para I say yes (and to all that is said by your co-blogger).
All of this has been experimental to our generation of Netizens, who jump into every shining boat and then the rest follows--"The wise learn from their own experiences but the truly intelligent will learn from someone else's!" - Benjamin Franklin (my favorite quote for the newcomers to Canada).
Best wishes
buddhaI just wanted to say thank you for all the help and advice you have given me. I wish more people in the community would be like you.
Jilliangreat info, I'm glad to have found your blog!
Louise BostockYes, you're right - this IS one cool site. I'll be back here for advice whenever I need it. One question...what are splogs?
befuzledI new to Blogging and the tools, tips and tricks of it all. The great thing about "one cool site: wordpress blogging tips" is it's written in an easy to follow, everyday language. This is a great resource and I've added it to my reader!
Scottie MagroThanks for the great info.
Potato ChefWhat makes {One Cool Site: Wordpress Blogging Tips} such a "cool" site is that you can actually trust the information that timethief and the other people who post on the blog write about.
The site has a very "clean" and organized look about it. Everything is laid out in a well thought out fashion that makes finding what you are looking for easy.
The font size that is used is larger which makes reading a breeze.
The blog is replete with accurate information on all things Wordpress, and even includes seo tips.
Unlike other "helpful" blogs, this one does not try and shove any distracting advertisements at you. They put information first! Which of course the reason you go to this blog.
If you need answers and not hype..then One Cool Site is where you should be.
AnnZThis blog is a treasure trove of useful and practical information for anyone who is interested in improving their blog. So many blogs about blogging are hard to follow, filled with ads and are targeted at bloggers who hope to make money. One Cool Site is not one of those blogs, there is no advertising, and the blog is targeted at those of us who want to blog well, and there are no ads. Timethief is a rare blogger who practices what she preaches, creating an easy to read and navigate blog that so clearly demonstrates the concepts that she writes about. Though some of the information is specific to Wordpress, there are a lot of articles of interest to all bloggers.
MeghnaA cool resourceful blog by a helpful person!
I look at this blog for enhancing my blogging experience, tips & tricks and guidance.
Bobby FinstockThis is one of the cleanest looking sites that I know. Easy to get around on, easy to find information, and easy to connection with the blogger.
Aside from the design the content is what the real winner is here. One of the most knowledgeable people when it comes to wordpress and social media, the author gives newcomers and established users information that not only helpful but has a direct impact on the quality of your website.
I have been a reader via RSS for awhile and I appreciate the information that I get from this site.
JordanBeing a newcomer to the world of blogging in the real world (IE...OFF Myspace), OneCoolSite is my number 1 resource to go to when I have questions or I want to figure out where to go next.
The layout is awesome. The information is clear and there are plenty of resources linked and listed on the site itself.
Judith HeartSongYou are always teaching me things (whether you know it or not!)
Omar ModestoBloggers wanting to know the What, How and Why of blogging need look no further than this blog. A wealth of information contained in neatly organized articles, all in one place.
Easy to read, well referenced and newbie-friendly, it's deservant of sporadic visits to anyone looking to become an established, successful blogger.
Asif Irtiza HussainSimply one cool site- with almost any information you'll ever need on blogging. it's a must visit site for new bloggers like me...
though the blogger has used a simple template the design os nice and one can navigate easily.
peace
mtchickI'm glad I found your blog, great posts! Will come back for more.
Maciding DosonThe Best solution for a Blogger
JanePI have a feeling I will be visiting your sight frequently on my introduction into the world of internet and blogging.
MelissaI just realized I never rated your blog - I love this blog, huge amount of tips, tricks and resources. You are on my blog roll!
AndalussI ve heard of you in a blog & I found you here :)
Good work. Keep it up!
Fairchild_13great for starters. i've read this one before and it helped me a lot! :)
Angela SwanlundAfter only a short hour on your blog, I see the time and effort you've devoted to better blogging. I'm almost speechless. You're tireless efforts deserve so much more than mere written kudos and ratings stars. You're not simply a source of information, you're an authority.
Lena BlonskyWhat a great blog you have! I was recommended your site by another blogger as I've just converted from blogger to wordpress and am having some hurdles to jump over :)
My latest hurdle is trying to find a way of importing a new theme (love yours by the way - soft ethereal colors)- wp instructions seem pretty straight forward except that when I go to my wp-contents/theme page there is no upload button, same goes for the plug-ins. Is that to do with my server? I have emailed them and am waiting for a reply/solution. Unless of course there is a simpler way that I'm just missing - silly me :))
Guitar PlayerThis site is by far one of the most informative sites on the web about blogging. It is not geared towards selling you some sort of affiliate product, there are no hidden agendas here, something that is far too common. Generally, a lot of the blogging help sites are by super bloggers that are high level sales sights or very poor low level sites about how to make money, when in truth it is just recycling other peoples info that they have heard works.
Timethief has painstakingly done the hard yards on solving many complicated blogging issues herself and has research and problem solving skills so far above the rest that it's almost scary. A an IT professional who teaches about 150 people per year web development, both server side and client side , I would have no hesitation in recommending her professionaly to any busainess or using her resources as the benchmark for all bloggers globally.
Congratulations on resourcing and developing material which will save other people hundreds of hours looking for solutions to their problems and also highlighting areas that people would not even consider existed.
Is it possible to give 6 stars in a world that generally measures by 5 stars...if so take 6,
Tony Hogan Guitar Blogger
Tangled Webgreat blog and tons of helpful info. Bookmarked for continued reference
Tony SingleAnother excellent blog here! I'm not much of a technical person, so it's a relief to read something that's worded plainly. It'll take me awhile to sort through, but the information to be found here will make it all worthwhile.
The layout is quite elegant too. :)
HichamAn excellent resource for wordpress bloggers and bloggers in general.
gerryPlanetEarthWow..This truly is one cool site...This blog is well written with an enormous amount of useful content...
This blog is a great bookmark for all bloggers who wish to improve the quality of their blogs...
Thank-you for providing this wonderful wealth of helpful blogging tips...
Jenn ThorsonHelpful tips that go far behind just blogging using Wordpress. The nice thing about this blogger's approach is her ability to see what questions a newbie might have and tackle them from a step-by-step perspective.
shoreacresAn often recommended site. I'm glad to have found you, and have enjoyed browsing the information. I'll be back to dig a little deeper, and make use of the tips.
It's an easy to navigate site - especially good for someone new to all this. Appreciate all your work!
Wendy FriedrichWhy on earth didn't I locate this sooner LOL Has everything a person could need to start their own blog.
Now I am going to go back and see if I can find some more things I could use or update or change.
Trying to figure out how you got all those little widgets at the bottom of single posts but source code isn't much help. At least to me LOL
Well done
William McCammentThis is one of the most valuable blogs on the net. I have learned so much that I almost can't believe it. Timethief's writing demystifies the often complicated world of Wordpress and blogging in general. I am really glad I found this blog!
If you are a blogger, do yourself a favor and check it out.
AlbertI've been reading it for several weeks now and have learned lots of things that would have been very difficult to learn on my own.
cbReally enjoying reading this blog. Has a lot to offer
BirdSo many blogs about blogging appear to contain nothing but recycled, badly written, dull as ditchwater lists of "10 things you MUST do or blah blah blah"! Not this one - this is a well written, carefully researched blog containing a rich seam of invaluable information, much of which seems to have been gleaned from the writers personal blogging experience. There is a real person in here, sharing what she has learned and more importantly sharing what is truly useful. It's so refreshing to have found a lively informative blog on this subject that doesn't just eat itself! Thank you for sharing, Timetheif; I'll be back for more :)
MariamichelleAs a new blogger, this information will surely be invalable to me. I think I can learn a lot from this site!
searchingwithinAn excellent source of blogging information and how to's, perfect for noobie's like me, and the seasoned blogger. Thank you for the help.
JillianAs someone who finds herself spending more and more time on the BC discussion threads, it's hard not to notice certain people. Timethief is someone who has a wealth of information a lot of Bloggers would find beneficial. She answers many a question and provides links to help educate fellow bloggers in the hope it will further enrich their blogging experience.
Even though I'm not as vocal as some, I think Timethief's contributions to BC are invaluable. Thanks! Keep doing what you're doing. :)
Usha KrishnanThanks for visiting my site. As a courtesy, I thought I'd do the same for you and wow, was I surprised! It's a super site you've got going, with great, easy to read info. I know I can learn a lot from it and might not have stumbled upon it if you hadn't chosen to visit mine first. So thanks again!
Cheers!
Tommy Blogging SportsOk, I am giddy. You got me!!!
How DARE you have an easy to read/navigate website, where it is understandable to read, AND enjoy.
People, her website great. And if you want to make her blush, just ask her her about her unique accent. ;-)
RecycleCindyThis blog and its owner are very helpful and provide useful information. A very valuable tool for any blogger to bookmark for a further resource.
ian in hamburgI have learned so much about blogging from timethief, starting with her time on the wordpress.com forums and now on her own blog. She is especially good for newbies because she explains things in a language we can all understand.
Jeunelle FosterSince I know nothing about Wordpress this is a great site

Where were you when I was banging my head against the wall hmmmmm?
Excellent source of information and informative.
Mark StonemanUseful blogging tips, but where this blog stands out is it's focus on the solid Wordpress.com blogging platform, one I switched to this year.
Kitchen Table MedicineGreat resource! Thank you
chris DLone-cool-site is a must for people learning how to blog, or learning to blog better: how to organize content, how to be clear and avoid confusing readers;
** how to make a blog communicate.
Some of us as newbies followed time-theif's previous blogs as a guide to understanding blogging, One-cool-site continues to do the same.
Edwin ReyesSimply amazing.
Doc KCThis blog is incredibly informative and an amazing read! If you have any questions concerning what blogging is, how to do it, how to promote your blog, or even blogging terminology (and it doesn't stop there), this is the place to go!

Robin EastonI know I just rated this blog, but I have been going through it's archives and the information for WordPress 2.5 users is invaluable. I spent the last week pulling my hair out trying to understand the new version and this blog just answered all my questions. I can't recommend it enough.
Robin EastonThis site is so amazing. I wish I'd had this four months ago. If you are a WordPress user this is a gift from heaven. I only recently discovered this gem and am starting at the beginning of the posts and reading forward. TimeThief not only knows the facts but presents them in a way that I can easily understand. Thank you. Thank you!
growhappyA lot of useful tutorials for beginners in blogging, especially those who are using WordPress.com.
I self-host my own blog and last I checked some of the functions like image upload are a bit different BUT! I imagine the tips and tricks on this site being a life-saver for many whose blogs are hosted on WordPress.com. PLUS! there's a wealth of useful links in the Resources section. SO! I'll give you a 9.5 BUT! Since I can't do that and you seem nice, I'll bump it up to 10! ;)
cooperFor those just starting out at WordPress.com, or new to the WP platform, this blog is a great place to begin.
Clean, lean, well designed, and succinct, a handy little reference.
Lynda LehmannThis blog is well organized, succinct, and well presented. Most importantly, it's chock full of tips and useful information. I highly recommend it and have put a link to it on my site, in my list of blogging resources!
WolfieWhen I started blogging, I was using Wordpress.com as my host. During the whole learning process I went to the help forums a lot and TimeThief's advice there was invaluable and taught me a lot.
Being the kind, helpful soul that she is TimeThief keeps her blog updated with all those tips and tricks that are really useful but which aren't always so easy to find. Her blog is a one-stop shop for all that you need to know to solve practically any Wordpress problem.
I can't recommend this blog highly enough.
Benny GreenbergWhere were you when I started my WP Blog - I could have SO used your help and knowledge - I have learned much in just scanning your blog - I look forward to digging deeper and uncovering all those secrets - Keep up the good work!
