I can see how you make effort to go on diet to lose some extra weight, and writing a blog on that is a good idea. You will be more encouraged! It's actually similar to my case. I'm not quite good at cooking, but I have to cook everyday and so I need to be good at it. I urge or encourage myself by posting Japanese cuisine topic. In that way I make up the situation under which I have to move forward! Hahaha...(^_^;)
Many of Japanese cuisine/recipes are very healthy with less calorie. It's also adaptable to macrobiotic as well-known Madonna's chef is a Japanese.

I like cute(kawaii) things and of course interested in diet, too. I think you can learn some daily Japanese foods from my blog. We do not eat sushi, teriyaki, sukiyaki, tempra...so often. The key that Japanese people live longest in the world is that we eat much simpler meals everyday.
