Play Golf Everywhere and Anywhere
I know what you are thinking. I can't play golf when I'm working, I can't play golf when I'm sleeping and I certainly can't play golf when I'm in the bathroom.
Well' you are totally wrong, or maybe let me rephrase that. You can if you really want to improve your golf.
Let's just take a look at some situations of how you can "Play golf wherever you may be" I am just going to give you some examples:
1. On the way to work
2. At work
3. Walking the dog
4. Jogging or Walking
On the way to work:
If you are driving to work the best way to practise is to think golf mental. Think about the first hole on your local course and how you usually play it. Then think about the hole and work out how to play it in a completely different way. You could even have a tape recorder in the car and record your ideas.
Then you can listen to them next time you are on your way to play and this will give you the impetous to try out a new way of golfing when playing different holes
At Work:
Take your putter or driver to the office and do some practice putting or even go outside of the office and practice your swing, it will lead to an improved golf swing.
Walking the dog:
Take a couple of golf balls out with you and when you are in some open space throw the golf ball underarm for the dog to chase.
This underarm throwing actually simulates the action of chipping, you can even take your wedge with you and use this.
The only issue with this is that you must have an obedient dog and one that will fetch.
Out Jogging or walking:
Go for a light jog and take your sand wedge with you. make sure that you are jogging in the park or on an open grass area and just hit a ball one handed while you are jogging along. This will do two things. It will give you the correct feeling of how the weight of the club helps on chip shots.
It will also improve your hand eye co ordination. It is much harder hitting a ball whilst running.
If you walk for exercise then you can do a similar routine but this time just play keep up by seeing how many times you can bounce the ball on the face of your sand wedge without it hitting the ground.
Again this will give you a good feeling of how the ball reacts off of the club face.
So who said you cannot play golf anywhere?
Good luck with these and enjoy your next round
All the best
