I have just got back from the Disney area of Orlando FL.
I suffer severely with arthritis, so decided to use the service of a Mobility Scooter Rental company in Orlando on this visit.
After trauling the internet, we found a company called www.SunMobilityRentals.com . Not only was their prices the lowest on the internet, but their service was second to none.
The Pride Elite Traveller PLUS mobility scooter arrived at my Disney Hotel at 8am in the morning. It was not just dropped off outside like some of the other companies were doing, a young man called David delivered the scooter to my room, and spent about 20 mins with me, showing me how to break it down into 5 pieces, to go into the back of the car. He also gave me some tuition on how to use the machine.
I was so delighted with the scooter at the end of my trip, I asked www.SunMobilityRentals.com how much one of these scooters would cost to buy. This is what really blew me away. They sold me the machine that I had been using around the Disney Parks for the past 2 weeks, at a fraction of the price that I could buy a new one for. I simply booked it onto the Virgin aircraft home for FREE... (Airlines can not charge you for taking these on board, and it is not classed as part of your luggage allowance either)... when I got off the aircraft at Gatwick, the scooter met me at the enterence to the aircraft.... I simply put it togehter which took 15 seconds, and then rode it through the whole airport, and back to my car.
Fantastic service guys. I would certainly recommend www.SunMobilityRentals.com to everyone.
P.S. Disney now charge $45 per day to rent a scooter in the parks. www.SunMobilityRentals only charged me $22 per day for a much better machine!
