My personal opinion of the Oscars this year was - it was different!! I thought the idea of putting the host in the "hot seat" for singing, dancing, and carrying everything was "overkill"...Most audiences like to see a variety of comedy, different singers, and special dance numbers in the spotlight...The part I really liked most- was the way the nominees were introduced by five or six previous winners entering the stage at once...Just the whole idea of them giving a synopsis of the film, and a personal congrat. to the nominee was both emotional, and rewarding - it really brought a new "limelight" persona to the actors and actresses, and their accomplishments. That was very well done...Thats entertainment!!
