I don't know very much about plants, but I'm hoping someone can guide me in the right direction. I'm looking for a outdoor plant that can withstand a good amount of direct sunlight, Its going to be close to the house, there were scrubs there, they were just to large, I'd like to have a shurb, or green plant, or, something to fill in the area.....I'm open to any ideals. thanks in advanced

Well, I love gardening, and your tips are great. I really like the photos. I've never met an outdoor plant I didn't like, except maybe poison ivy. I can't seem to get enough roses in my garden. I keep finding more that I just have to have. Great blog.
