Passive and Aggressive

http://www.passiveandaggressive.blogspot.com/

Humor blog.

I am on a quest to find new friends in Lubbock, Texas. My glorious quest has lead me to hang out with a bunch of Atheists at Denny's, become charmed by Secessionists, and slay goblins with the magical nerds of Dungeons & Dragons.

I love DRAMA and weirdness, and I'm not afraid to talk to strangers. Follow my journey as I make new friends with the delightful, eccentric and downright spooky.

  • What I Have to Offer as a Friend

Posted on Friday May 1st, 2009 at 18:01

As my quest to find new friends in Lubbock continues, I thought it'd be informative to let readers know what I have to offer as a friend.I am not the “tell it like it is” type of friend. If I don’t like someone, they will never know it. If you ...

I survived my first teabagging! Maybe my expectations were too high, but I thought the Tea Party was in desperate need of some gays. They needed less tea and more PAR-TAY, hey-ay. It lacked imagination and passion. Polite clapping is for golf and pia...

  • Chasing the Myth that is Line-Dancing

Posted on Sunday April 12th, 2009 at 22:33

Texans think people from California are elitist jerks with no family values. We think they like to go line-dancing and drink moonshine. So I've gotten quite a few requests from my stylish LA friends daring me to go country line-dancing. I hung out wi...

Arcticulates

5 stars Arcticulates

1. Content(writing styles, etc.)

For a new blog.. this one is very interesting to read. The author writes about her life situations at her new home in Texas... and what seems to me... the total opposite of her old stomping grounds Los Angeles, California. But while reading the posts I think this author will be just fine, because she views things in a humorous light, and she writes using that same humor. Which I totally enjoyed!

2. Colors (eye-catching, blends, etc.)

I like the colors chosen for this blog, they do not distract from the content and are easy on the eye. The grey background ties it all together very nicely.

3. Fonts (Background contrasts, etc.)

The fonts used on this blog are easy to read, and the background color used behind their lighter color is perfect, so that while reading it doesn't tire the eyes. It looks really nice also!

4. Layouts (orderly, theme etc.)

The layout/theme for this blog fits it perfectly. The header is stunning, and layout fits the blog style, clean orderly and easy to look at. Very nice!

5. Navigational (working links. etc.)
All the links seem to be in great working order, it is easy to navigate around this blog. It was easy to find where to click to go to any information in this blog.

Tina I think your blog is Awesome. The way you view life around you with a quick sense of humor and not so seriously... shows in your writing style and it makes it very fun to read. I hope you continue blogging even after you leave Texas.. You are an excellent writer and I enjoyed your blog!

EssentialBastard

5 stars MVD

Brilliant writing! In an age where every half-wit with a keyboard can tap out accolades to the mundane, this blog cuts through the crap with well versed, entertaining stories.

Often sly and sardonic, the author's use of tongue-of-cheek parody while winking at her readers is done with impressive consistency.

I'm hooked.
