I do custom bronze sculptures of peoples pets, I take the time to make sure I capture the personality of each subject (pet) I deal with. I also have some of the best foundry and color patina experts to work with. I have never had any trouble with customers being more then satisfied with the end result.
Most people would love to have a bronze sculpture of one or more of their pets, but do not know how to go about making it happen . I can help them with any part of that process.
All I need are the initial contacts with the people who can afford this kind of expenditure and I thought you might have some connections of that nature
Some of these sculptures are in the range of $2,500 up to $10,000 depending on the size and complexity of the subjects and you would get a pre agreed % of each successfully completed project
I have brochures that I can send you and am having my web site upgraded to reflect some of my smaller pet sculpture work.
I also do Monumental Sculptures which are available to view at www.johnballou.com The bronze Mt Lion and cubs is a $75,000 installation for a $7,500,000 home in the Vintage housing development in the Palm Springs, CA area.
I work in stages from drawings, to models to final bronze sculpture and the first consultation is free.
If you have any interest in this, I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely
John Ballou

Hi Candice! In business there will always be issues like high gas prices to contend with, and these issues will affect business.

However, my opinion is that pet businesses that do more and more promotion of their online stores, or the fact that they are a neighborhood (close to you) business, can benefit from the soaring gas prices through promotion of such. Save gas, save money by shopping online or at your (close to you, we're on your way) neighborhood pet store. Promoting long term product quality will also be more important.

What About Foreign Competition?

As a partner in Caserta Pets, a manufacturer of upscale pet accessories, I am concerned about low-quality dog collars and leashes that are inundating megamall pet stores such as Petco and Petsmart. Do you think soaring gas prices, linked in a recent article in Pet Product news, will lead more buyers to megamalls to buy lower priced dog collars than they can find online by reputable manufacturers? Would like to hear your opinion
