Interesting comments, and I find the polls quite interesting too.
This blog is especially for baby boomers who aren't ready for the rocking chair. This blog expresses opinions on how the world can be made a better place for those who follow us if we oldsters would just get off our butts and do something positive, and perhaps difficult.
Recent PostsAs Thanksgiving 2009 approaches, I find myself thankful for the usual stuff: family, friends, food, health, shelter, love and all those other fuzzy things. What I think is more interesting though are the things I'm not thankful for. So I ask the fol...

Comment on your blog post:
Since both Obama and Bush are right-wing authoritarian, I never had great expectations, so it's a pleasant thing to see he has moved to undo at least some of Bush's atrocities. Anything is better than nothing. But do keep him on his toes.
As for race mattering, obviously it does, otherwise we wouldn't have heard people saying things like "the first black president" or "the first African-American president". Martin Luther King can carry on dreaming. Those comments show that he is being judged by the colour of his skin, and not the content of his character.
I tried to post it on your blog, but "your request could not be posted".
Tried to post it your shout box, but that didn't work either.
