Dirty ButterI'd love to help both of you, Stephanie and Phyllis, but I need for you to use the Contact Us form on our Search Service. That way I can contact you to get photos and to let you know when one of our Fabulous Finders locates your lovie.
StephanieWe need help in a big way. About 2.5 years ago our then 4 y/o son played the "claw machine" for the first time and won a stuffed animal that he named "Hippie". Hippie was orange with purple spots. The inside of his ears and the bottom of his feet were purple too. He carried that stuffed animal with him everywhere and slept with it every night. He pronounced Hippie a member of the family. Yesterday afternoon he left hippie on the porch while playing outside and one of our dogs shredded him. We don't know the manufacturer, the tag wore off long ago, but suspect a company called Sugar Loaf. Hippie looked like an orange hippo with purple spots and very similar to Beast from Maggie and the Ferocious Beast with different colors and minus the horns.
We certainly would appreciate any help anyone can provide. Our son had so much trouble sleeping without his beloved Hippie!

LindaWe recently returned from a trip to Kansas and my daughter left "baby" a pink, plush, 10 inch blonde banged doll on the airplane. We were unable to locate her after leaving the plane and were not allowed back on to search for her due to security reasons. My 9 year old daughter began sobbing. "Baby" has been with her for 9 years and has gone to daycare, preschool and preK with her. Occasionally, she still, diguised in a blanket, could be found in the bottom of my daughter's 4th grade back pack on a day of a test or big concert when she had a solo. She was a baby OshKosh product and I can't seem to locate one on the internet. She was very well loved (like the Velveteen Rabbit) and I would love to find her sister, if anyone has one. Or next time you travel on Continental and look under the seat or unroll a plane blanket to find "BABY" please email us!!
Dirty ButterKatrina it would help to see a photo of your bunny, missing nose and all. Please use the Contact Us form on our Search Service and we will try to help you. You will be able to send the photo when I reply to your contact form.
KatrinaMy son's lovie is a floppy earred soft white bunny that came from Wal-Mart around Easter time in 2006. We've not been able to find another one like it. Bunny goes everywhere with him-home, daycare and to bed at night. He's been patched where his stuffing was coming out. And tonight my son cried and cried because Bunny's pink nose fell off. I convinced him its ok that Bunny is different and he finally settled down. Can anyone help me in locating this bunny?
Lisa DulinMy daughter lost "Cowie" Nov. 25th, 2008. Cowie was a gift from her grandma in MA, given to her when she was not yet a year old. She's 8 now. Needless to say, Cowie is not replaceable. She was bought at an Ames Department store when it was going out of business, in MA. We both cry when we let ourselves think about Cowie being gone. We put an ad in the paper and have offered a reward, up to $50, and maybe more. Cowie is purple & white and I just thought about having one made somehow that looks exactly like her. That might work since I'm pretty sure we will never find another one.

GenevaMy daughter's penguin, Penny (that's our name for the penguin) is so well loved that we may need to replace her. We bought Penny last year about this time at Old Navy. Penny was about $7.50 and we bought 2 but soon discovered that we need more. I would show you a picture of Penny after some Sophie lovin' but it is so sad. Penny leads a hard life but she is very well loved by a sweet little girl who wants Penny with her always. My husband and I just want to make sure that we can try to keep them together as long as possible. Thank you.
Dirty ButterKim Land of Nod is an Amazon related site, so maybe you would be able to get it without such a delay. I could not find one anywhere else, either.

kimI think I have found the exact bunny at "land of nod" in the states, but they won't tell me the brand name. I'm in Canada, so I was hoping to find one here that won't take 3 weeks to get here. It's called The Grey Hare at their store. Wish I could find it here!!
kimLooking for a bunny, it was bought in Canada 17 yrs ago, lost in the states 9yrs ago. Can't remember the brand name, bunny was approx. 1ft tall inc. ears. It had moveable arms and legs, I think. It was perhaps a heritage or a russ, it was browny -oatmeal in color and was a little rough not soft. The ears were bendable and the feet had been patched. I believe it was stuffed with a combo of beans and stuffing- she answers to the name Vanilla!! haha, joke! My daughter is turning 21 this year and still it brings tears to her eyes to talk about losing Vanilla. Help?
Dirty ButterAnnessa would you please contact us from our blog so we can help you find your Sunshine animal?

Eleanor H.I am searching for a pink and purple stuffed elephant. He is about two feet long and is known as a JUMBO LOVE. My grandson carries a small piece of Snuffy(elephants name) with him all the time. This elephant was his mothers when she was young and she gave it to him when he was born. Snuffy had been repaired and washed many many times in the last twenty some odd years. As time went by he went to pieces. My grandson used to carry a leg or an arm with him always, now its little pieces. He would really love to get another one for his mom. If you have one please email me.
Dirty ButterHi Becky, Ruth, and Annessa,
I'm sorry, but this is the first time I have read these comments asking for help finding lovies.
If you would use the Contact Us link on our Lost Toys Search Service site, I will be glad to do what I can to help you find them.
BeckyThis is probably a long shot, but I am searching for a replacement floppy tiger from 1992. my sister lost her favorite stuffed animal a couple years ago and I feel responsible because I guilted her into taking to a camp where she was a counselor, where it was lost (we are both 24, so it has a lot of sentimental value). The tiger is orange and black, has a smaller head, a pink nose, and long, floppy arms and legs with bean paws. He has a skinny tail and a little white "beard." He also has sleepy looking black/brown eyes with rubber eyelids on top. I am unsure of the brand because the info on the tag got worn off with age, but I have pictures. I'm just not sure how to post them. Any help or advice about where to look would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
