Poetry On Being Human

Poetry On Being Human

http://jafrancis.wordpress.com

This is my poetry much of which was written so many years ago. Some of which is still raw. None of which is forgotten because the words are etched on an image of an event and come to mind like dogs come to heel when their master is touched. Gradually I go through scribbled lines in journals and inanities on scraps of paper and collate it here. Its harsh and sentimental both and as Ronald Duncan phrased it "The ask aches in me".

Just wanted to say thank you for visiting and for the astounding review. I have never shared these poems before, they were written because sometimes you just have to write.

The submission to poetry magazines always seemed too difficult although I did manage to get a few published a long time ago.Publishing a book seemed even more difficult. I felt sad to just leave them in the dark, a forgotten notebook never to see the light of day.

Blogging is such a wonderful way to share them so people can take from them what they wish, with or without comment. I'm so happy that you enjoyed them and grateful you took the time to review me. Thank you.
