SOME CONSTRUCTIVE AND RATIONAL THOUGHTS ON THE PROBLEMS AND ISSUES OF THE MUSLIM WORLD TODAY

I am a Muslim and I always highly value the fundamental principles of Islam. Today, internationally, Islam has become a prime subject of thoughtful comparison and analysis, especially when the matters are related to socio-political subjects.

What I wanted to think loudly is that: Why not all Muslims and their friends examine the problems and issues of the Muslims around the world? Even if we cannot bring solution to those, at least, we may open some avenues for thoughts of the immediate future generations. We know most of these, but we all ignore these. Some of these problems and issues of the Muslims, as stated below, may be intensively examined and constructive suggestions towards remedial measures may please be made. Good analysis and constructive suggestions will be of great value for the Muslims, non-Muslims and others as well.

1. Why the Muslim countries are mostly poor?

2. Why the Muslims are least educated?

3. Why the Muslims are most corrupt in administrative and commercial matters?

4. Why the Muslims are less farsighted?

5. Why the Muslim ecclesiastic persons are less educated and are essentially backward in knowledge if compared with the same of other religions?

6. No Muslim country has codified Islamic Shariah Law. However, many Muslims talk of Shariah law. Where is the Shariah law? In fact, there is none in unified cumulative form. Random Fatwas by the less educated or uneducated Mullahs cannot be the pillar of Islamic Shariah Law.
7. Why the Muslims are less interested in establishing Medical, Engineering, and Technological institutions?

8. Why many Muslim countries hate many other Muslim countries?

9. Why most of the Muslim countries prefer to be ally of the non-Muslim countries?

10. Why the Muslims cannot invent many new products and cause scientific discoveries today?

11. Why the Muslim businesspersons, in most cases, are engaged in infringements and counterfeiting.

12. Why the Muslims are mostly diseased?

13. Why the Muslims do not decide to get Authorized translation of The Holy Koran?

14. Why the Muslims do not give equality to women?

15. Why in some Muslim countries translation of The Holy Koran is not allowed?

16. Why the Organization of Islamic Conference does not undertake any universal programme or project related to Islam?

17. According to The Holy Koran, we have only one Islam. But there are many versions. But why there is no official steps towards a unified and standard Islam.

18. Why the Muslims know less about other religions?

19. Our holy prophet did, but why our Mullahs do not know much about other major religions of the world?

20. Perhaps 90% worldâ??s beggars are Muslims. Why?

21. Why the Muslims are living in most unhygienic way?

The above are some of the problems and issues hinging around the world of Muslims in the 21st Century. Almost everybody knows about these. But it is sad that rarely anybody gives thoughts to these with constructive suggestions.

It is, therefore, most earnestly requested to all who are interested on the subject to kindly make comments and give good suggestions. All moderate Muslims will appreciate and welcome constructive opinions and suggestions.
With best regards for all readers of this esteemed site.

Yours sincerely,
