A little about my blog: I have developed an avid (some would say obsessive) interest in sustainability and eco-conscious living, which I attribute to growing up in a freezing-cold cabin on five acres in the woods and spending vast portions of my childhood perched precariously on a tree limb in order to avoid torment from my two merciless older brothers. Thus, a blog name was born. A UCSD-graduate and former actress (read: total psycho), I’m the resident nutrition guru in my LA-based circle of friends, and love nothing more than regaling audiences (or basically anyone willing to listen) about the connection between food and health. In my downtime, I contradict all this good advice and prove myself a total hypocrit by shoveling as much cake as possible into my mouth. I work in corporate television marketing in Los Angeles, but my writing has always been a welcome respite from the “the Biz.”
