Sylvia AllisonI did not know my dad until I was 27 years old. He left five of us when I was 5 year old. So many lives are ruined if we dwell on misfortunes such as this, being abandoned and not understanding the situation.
In my book, Trading Places, Raising Mom, (http://www.beadinggranny.com/raisingmom.htm)I gave a small tribute to my dad. After all the years he was gone, he came back for us kids to take care of him when he knew had cancer. We did and I don't regret it.
