CharmaineI had the same e-mail, got the cheque today and are just laughing as i have scammed them(and the were called Monica Panes and Garry Vale) out of a envelope, a first class stamp and a lot of useless time they wastes sending me this one. I would suggest everyone els do the same... give them false addresses to send the cheques to and keep them busy so that they can not scam honest hard workng people like us.

[He is a non-sikh punjabi i.e. punjabi without turbans, 6 feet tall, fair complexioned, well built body, smoker & drinker. His look is quite misleading: looks to be decent & noble physically but totally crooked & wicked inside]
He has cheated many people including me in the North-East-India and in Delhi.
His modus operandi is to speak about his high connections with ministers and also high level officers in the central & state governments and secretariates & offices and then convince you to give central & state government projects that comes in lakhs to crores promising you a high income in terms of lakhs & crores. Then, he will ask you a security deposit of Rs.40-50 thousands to him for arranging the project [he will say it's refundable once the project is through but he won't!]
Once, you paid the first amount, then, he will send you a fraud project Report that should be signed by you and submitted through him and now he will ask you another Rs.40-50 thousands as his fee for the project. With the payment of this money, he will assure you that the project will be submitted to the concerned government department at the earliest. Then, he will ask you to wait for some months.
After 1 or 2 months, he will ask you again the same above amount and this time he will say that this is the final fee to be collected from you for finalising the project sanction in no time once you pay it. You pay it the final fee still with faith in him. And now the game is over: you are cheated!
In reality, all the above process was a total fraud.
He would be doing nothing except make you believe in many ways that he is on the way with the project to be sanctioned soon.
Now, you call his mobile/phone and it will be silent and you will lose track of him!
The above narration is the true story how this bastard [cheater/fraud] betray people in the north-east-India and in Delhi.

BrendaI am an event planner in Ohio and was fooled by these exact people. My emails from these's pieces of crap are word for word that of Tracy's. Thank God I did not fall for it but I did have quite a bit of communication with them before I realized it. The names they are using are Monica Panes and Garry Vale. Again, emails word for word of Tracy's. I feel very foolish but releaved that I did not get money. They even went so far as to set up a Facebook account under Monica Panes with a fake picture on it. I don't understand how people get away with this!!! UGH!!!
JenniferTracy, thank you so much for posting this. We also received an email with all of the exact same details, except now there are going by Monica and Garry and they are moving to Ohio. We also became suspicious when they said they heard about us through their friend from Spain and then told us they saw our website, although our website is currently under construction with very little information at the moment. That is when we began to Google and we came across your blog. Thank you so much for posting it and hopefully it will prevent even more people from getting scammed!

There is a scam currently being played on event/wedding planners across the states. I am an OR planner who received an email from a UK "client" wanting me to wire money for a deposit to the "couples" "french coupe de calien band". I caught on I hope you will too!!!
These scammers go into great detail of what services, and vendors they desire for their "wedding" and even ask for a contract to sign. The woman goes by many names, the latest is Jessica who is engaged to a French man named Rodin.They state they will be moving to the states as Rodin has obtained a job with Coca Cola.
To get the "wedding planning" started they send out a casheirs check in an amount for a deposit for you the wedding planner and a deposit for the "band" The planners then wires the extra money they send to another country for the "bands deposit". The cashiers check the planner has cashed comes back bad after a bit and then the Planners are left owing the bank thousands while the "band" has had someone wire them a thousand or two.
Please PLEASE pass this along to any and everyone in this business before someone else gets duped. When many of us have turned it over to the authorities they just tell us they have bigger fish to fry, but for some of us a few thousand dollars IS a big deal!

Here is a little about us : Well , we are easy to get to know and as a matter of fact we are opened to be read like a book.
David and i met in Paris, in the year 1998 and that was how it all started. I traveled to Paris to see my grand ma and eventually met David in my grand ma's mansion, he was her personal accountant. To my surprise he spoke English very well unlike other french nationals around and he was the only other person i could talk to except my grand ma. He was nice enough to have me say a yes to an invitation for dinner after a few days that we've met and that was how he started getting closer to my heart and after my visit to my grand ma's i was back in Hiati and David didnt stop calling me everytime to wish me well and tell me how much he missed me, he didnt give up on me even when there's so much distance between us and one day he promised to visit me in Hiati which he did. This actually triggered my feelings for him and we started a relationship from there and got engaged in July 2002.
In February 2003 he got a job with the Coca-cola company in Haiti as an Auditor and ever since we've been together as one. We share so many things in common and we love kids alot though we haven't started giving birth yet until after our marriage and now we will be relocating to the state for our new work and getting married . We love to swim, dance, go out to the movies, love sports, David loves water skiing and i love skating.
