Ron Weinland almost deceived me [And I, under his influence almost my family].

I found his web-site on google a few weeks ago, and was intrigued. I then ordered his book â??2008 Godâ??s final witnesses and was ultimately brought to my knees in repentance to God for not keeping His Holy Sabbath or any of the other Holy days, including Passover. Know I truly have a heart for God, and would sacrifice ANY thing for Him. [He is my King]

My family and myself now keep the Sabbath, and look forward to the Holy days!

However as I read on I discovered that he did NOT further debate and debunk Islamic beliefs and Judaism, but rather started to focus primarily on the faith of Christianity. [Not what he claimed in the title]

And then, after making MANY bold and pernicious statements i.e. Jesus not being there at the creation of the world, the spirit dying with the body until God decides to resurrect it, no life after death until Godâ??s great judgment day etc. The Holy Ghost began to warn my mind against him and some of his absolutely FALSE and FILTHY claims!

Yet, being full of â??humbleâ?? self-conceit, I was certain that someone who claimed to only be doing Godâ??s work could not possibly be being used by satan to deceive, I read on, and began to force myself to view the Word of God through his book. OH, how foolish that was!

Please understand, I totally agree with most of what the first two chapters say [EXCEPT for him declaring himself a prophet, claiming that there is no scripture denoting The Father The Son & The Holy Spirit [God gave my mother the very scripture - I John, 5:7, look it up, and don't be deceived], yet making no claim to having seen a vision or dreamt a dream, like God reveals Himself to His TRUE Prophets]

But God has revealed to me in the past few days of seeking His face and reading HIS Word, that mostly what this entire satan-possessed and deceiving self-declared rationally sounding maniac is false! HE IS THE SON OF PERDITION. He abides NOT in the doctrine of CHRIST.

[If you are eager to know the truth about the Christian faith, then read ALL of the epistles of John [The disciple whom Jesus loves, and the dictator/writer of revelation], they are filled with relevance and truth]

REMEMBER NOW, IF NOTHING ELSE, sATAN ALSO KNOWS HOW TO USE THE BIBLE TO MEET his DESIRE FOR YOUR LIFE!

JESUS REQUIRES NO WORKS, [but blesses them who keep His Father's Commandments] BUT SAVES US ONLY BY GRACE!

BEWARE; RON WEINLANDâ??S WAY LEADS TO DEATH! THE WORD OF GOD TEACHES US THAT WE DO NOT NEED TO BE TAUGHT BY ANY MAN, BECAUSE HIS HOLY SPIRIT WILL WRITE HIS LAW ON OUR HEARTS.

Just finished his second book and a lot makes sense but...observing the Sabath is NOT going to save anyone;
Trusting Jesus' death on Calvary will. And...forget dates: Not important really. Watch the signs mostly and seek truth.
Remember: the thief on the cross next to Jesus did not have time to hop off the cross, run and get baptized, or go observe a sabath the right way, and then hop back onto his cross and join the others. He was promised that he would see Paradise with Jesus.

Hi John,

I am a South African female of 28yrs. On the 5th of Feb this year, God finally brought me to his truth and opened my eyes.

You see he lead me to read Mr RW book G.F.W. 2008, and without a doubt I was convicted to my very core. That same night I got down onto my knees and thank God over and over for giving me a chance. You see I have prayed to God for the past year now to make me a Christian as I have tried on a few occasions and always fell horribly short. I never could figure it out why I was unable to fit into this world (the evil depresses me terribly) as well as not being able to fit into God's world neither. I felt like a failure, but now I am so truly happy as I see what God has done for me. All he has brought me through in my life so that finally I would be ready for his truth.
The thing about God is he only draws those who can succeed; he does not want us to fail. And I was finally, without realizing it, in the right place in my life to succeed.
So he revealed his truth to me, not all the lies I have grown up with.

I am so excited for the return of Jesus Christ; however it is still so surreal for me.

In my zeal to repent and finally give my life over to God I tracked down a church that was following the teachings of Mr HWA, and was so excited when I found a little congregation like that, that was meeting in my home town.

However I was not aware then of how the United Church of God fitted into this all and now I am feeling really lonely as all I want to do is talk about the return of Jesus and God's kingdom, but my fellow brethren are all a sleep still.

I pray to God earnestly so that he may intercede, as my heart is truly saddened that they might get left behind when it comes to the 144 000. They have all come out of WCG you see.
I know that my place is to go into the millennium as a building block, which excites me to no end.

I've read the bible and GOD'S latest book by MR.RW G.F.W.2008. MR. RW opened up my favorite book of the bible Isaiah and I had to ask myself? Who can open GOD'S Book and give understanding of GOD'S things but GOD HIMSELF. leaving me then with nothing else to do but get on my knees and thank GOD for sending us his light to find our way out of this evil darkness.

Hello: I must admit that in Ron's books,he says things that make a lot of sense, as ,I as well, never believed that a loving God would torture his children. There are so many mysteries,and I do "feel"that when we diligently seek, sometimes with much humility......we find deep truths. One thing that spoke to me was the book entitled "Mystery of the Ages" by HWA ......IT states very logical things about why human nature is so selfish, egotistical without intervention of the Holy Spirit. I am believing Ron for now.....I have no reason to doubt him....but we shouldn't knock what has not been proven or otherwise......Is that not judging......Don't get me wrong....I judge but try not to,but I am here on planet earth with the nature of a HUMAN!! So I'm a little concerned that we aren't talking Christ or salvation or doing something about being in the end times... I mean Christ said "go and make disciples of all nations..." and this RW and PKG and HGH and STD stuff going on is irrelevant to our commission as "Christians" ... and spending all this time in ministry for 25 years accrediting yourself as God's end time prophet and spokesperson seems like someone is trying to please men instead of God. so yeah spend your time arguing or discussing in forums instead of getting into the trenches and fighting the battle for Christ, living and producing fruit in the Spirit. Sounds like mr. RW has produced some fruit that is causing a house to become divided..which in the words of Jesus.. "will not stand." :) love you guys.

People have got to stop calling God's Holy Days Jewish. It so happens the Jewish religion honors God's Holy Days and for this reason, they mistakenly have been called Jewish.
The laws and commandents were given through Moses to the Hebrews long before Judaism was founded in Judah.

A Jesuit priest and many others have offered $1,000.00 to anyone who could find the verse where it says to stop observing the Sabbath - they still have their money.

I have also read the criticisms (both good and bad) of the them both. The Bible tells you to test all things so the one thing that is bothering me is that HWA made numerous false prophecies and RW says he is followng the teachings of his apostle, HWA. Now if HWA made false predictions, the Bible says that that person is not a prophet/apostle/minister/etc. etc of God. Again I believe what RW wrote about "traditional christainity" is true, but if HWA made even just one false prediction and RW believes HWA was God's end-time apostle, what would that make RW?
Im curious what you guys think because when i first read all of their books and writings i believed whole-heartedly, and almost without question, but after finding out about HWA false predictions and know RW follows HWA red flags comes up(just like anything that i read that has to do with any religion i read about question it to see if i am being decieved).

My beliefs don't require that you believe them... but you make a point that I've asked myself too many times... but what you don't know are the experiences I've had and all the cards I've turned over in my life for you to even begin to tell me that I'm confused and eating it all up like ice cream on a summer day... I've done so much research in my past and have seen and known all types of New Age mumbo jumbo and all conspiracy theories (that I don't descredit because I was a daily with Alex Jones)that prove what a sick and decieved world we are in. We are controlled and kept under wraps on what is really occuring in the world... I know all that my friend... I was a daily digging up information... unraveling lies and deceptions and societies that are power thirsty and goals of depopulation that are still being brought up in an orderly plan that they believe is going to work... for a N(ew)W(orld)O(Order).

The thing is this is on a whole other plane that surpasses all gibberish of Nostrodamus (Dolores Cannon), quantum physics, psychic books, The Human Aura (Kuthumi and Djwal Khool), The 7 Chakras, hypnosis, regression, past-life healing, UFOs, talking with guardian angels, the Mayan calander, planetX, the fall of atlantis, annunuki (serpent beings who "made" us) and what not... Dude I've been there done that...

You need to experience a whole junk load of garbage and a whole lot of humbling in order to see the truth... I admire your respectfulness but your not seeing the whole picture here... This finally puts all the pieces of the puzzle when you ACTUALLY spend sometime studying and less judging by your part or any other person just because you don't want to feel left out... Nobody likes the truth and I don't expect you to understand it because your to busy calling a prophet... a false prophet without him even being proved wrong. A prophet is not FALSE unless he is proven wrong... If your already "predicting" that he's false why don't you stand up and say, "Hey! I'm a prophet" Nah, I didn't think so...

I'll be respectful John, but I find it difficult to understand how you believe that guy. When April 2008 comes around and theirs know nuke, Ron even says himself to call him a false prophet. God makes mention in his sciptures many times that no man knows the hour, only god knows the hour. He says he will come as a thief in the night. And he will catch us off guard. So you buy in and swallow everything Ron Weinland says because it tickles your curiosity and eases your concerns about the subject. We all know we are in the last days we don't need Ron Boastful Weinland to say that. He is so arrogant, proud and unabashed. How can you justify his words? All true prophets of god give god glory and are humble themselves. Ron truly does set at naught the true words of god. God said that man should not build himself in gods words to get monetary gain. Ron Weinland is in priestcraft and god shuns against priesfcraft. If anything I agree with the first guys statement, i may believe too that ron is involved a much larger scale conspiracy than one might presume. He wreaks of corruption and I can't believe you can't sniff it out a mile away!!!

I believe Ronald Weinland is a so called "false prophet," but I also believe that what he predicts has a very real possibility of taking place. However, these things will not take place because "God" revealed these things to him, but that these events have been told to him by the very people that plan to act out these terrible things. In other words, he is part of a plan to usher in global government,and has been placed (by the people who have the real power,) within the Christian and religious communities in order to fool religious people into following his lead. These power elites are planning to stage a second coming of Christ, as well as set up the beast and Anti-christ. They are playing both sides of a charade. Research: book "Gods of Eden," authors: Michael Tsarion, Jordan Maxwell, Davis Icke, "The Disclosure Project," Alex Jones and what really happened on 9/11,Eric Phelps tells how the Jesuits are involved, and the list goes on. Please Please!!!! do the research, just for once, and you will find that this rabbit hole is deeper than you ever imagined. I am in the Army and am very patriot and have been a Christian my whole life; more and more people are seeing truth in these so called "conspiracy theories" and it is for good reason. Remember truth is the arch enemy of the lie, the lie will do what ever it takes to conceal itself, and the best way to conceal itself is with so-called truth. God bless!!

I already live by this rule my friend in truth. Can't you see that I've only directed but ONE post to him. If he debates my post to HIM them I will stop. It says very clearly in the Bible that one has to warn someone of his ways ot else his blood will be on us. If we warn those who do wrong then we did are part and their blood won't be on us a our life if renewed. Can you see now why I must tell him at least once, my friend?

I'm offering Rick help because I can see from his posts that he can see the truth, is there any wrong with that?

...and NO, there is no wrong in what you said just inaccuracy at who you aimed it at...

This is going to look and sound so incredibly condescending, but the truth is the truth.... Jimmyhags is one of those examples of an individual who doesn't want the truth and cannot see it because he just can't see it. Until God opens someone's eyes *and* brings them to humility, mankind will always reject the truth. Its just how we're made. So there is no sense in getting into debates or arguments over any of this. If someone's eyes are open, they won't debate. If the eyes are closed, they will remain closed till God opens them.

Yes, on March 18 the "abomination of desolation" that Daniel spoke about ends on March 18, 2008. From 1290 days (March 18) to 1260 days (April 17) is the sound of the first sound of the trumpet. When the 7th Seal opens after the the abonotion that makes desolate ends, Satan will redirect his attention to influence a religious leader. This religious leader (you should look him up, you will be shocked or not) arrives around April... pretty accurate and non-coincedential I should say.

Remember there is a silence in heaven for about 30 minutes. RW will expound on that more as we go along but know that 30 minutes is not 30 minutes here on earth... and SILENCE in heaven is does NOT mean silence on earth... think about it and if you have any questions my e-mail is: john_perez1288@yahoo.com ... It's nice to see you read and actually understand what is written! Be glad you do and thank God that he is letting you see things that other people with haughty or pride filled attitude reject.

About the 7th Seal... from an (ATS Thread)

RW said there was to be a silence in heaven for half an hour. 30 days from 1290 days countdown (March 18, 2008) to 1260 (April 17, 2008)] is when the first trumpet sounds. It sounds on April 17, 2008 but the "abomination of desolation" ends on March 18, 2008; when Satan redirects his attention from corupting "religion" to a religious leader that arrives around April. Look it up, you will be shocked or not to see who comes sround that time.

RW will discuss more about the 30 minutes of silence in heaven in the following Sabbath, most likely. Remember, 30 minutes in heaven is NOT the same on Earth and doesn't mean there will be silence on earth.

I advise if you want to comment about RW and HWA at least read the material because from the looks of it you haven't. I'm not telling you what to do, I'm saying that you're talking about books you didn't even read. Hence RWs two books and HWA books. HWA was an APOSTLE, APOSTLES DO. NOT. Prophesy. He did HIS best to see how things were coming together for the future. God gave him clarity about the past of the Church of God and inspired interpetation about the Bible. John The Baptist (In the spirit of Elijah) PREPARED (past tence) GODs CHURCH for the first coming Jesus Christ. Once he John the Baptist did that it didn't matter if he dyed before or after Jesus Christ coming. He accomplished his TASK of PREPARING the WAY of the Church of God FOR Jesus Christs coming. Herbert W. Armstrong did just that. God revealed truths to HWA for the revival of Gods Church in PREPARENCE for Jesus Christ second coming; in the Spirit of Elijah. (End-Time Elijah because we are in the End-Time)

Ronald Weinland IS a prophet chosen by God to PROPHESY. He CAN prophesy. John the Bapist was given prophesies about the End-Time in Revelations as well as Daniel but even Daniel didn't understand the prophesies given to him. " Although I heard, I did not understand. Then said, "My Lord, what shall be the end of these things?" And he said(God) "Go your way Daniel, for the words are closed up and SEALED TILL the time of the end." (Daniel 12-8-9)

Can you read this and still not understand? We are at the time of the end. In revelation Jesus Christ is worthy to open up the seals. As he opens them His Church (GODs) through Jesus Chris,t UNDERSTAND and the prophesies are revealed for understanding. If you have any questions, just read and then talk.

Many many folks can say that becoming a true follwer of God starts with keeping the Sabbath. I have been astounded for theh past 20 years as to how people can actually believe that. I am not blasting anyone for believing that, however, The Bible is very very clear about what the Sabbath was and is today. That's why when people who claim they are in Christ say that keeping the Jewish Sabbath festivals, Holydays and Feasts are crucial to salvation.

I could go on for an hour here, but I won't but just know-- that Herbert Armstrong and now Ronald Weinland RAM IT DOWN THE THROATS of followers that salvation starts with keeping the Sabbath and following God's law. Now, According to Armstrongism, God ONLY calls those into his plan of salvation that are already keeping his law. I have tried very very hard to find where that is sound Bible teaching. I found that it's not. In fact, there is NOTHING in Scripture that supports it withhout cutting out the entire New Testament. Secondly, the Sabbath, if you think about it, isn't on Saturday OR Sunday... it's recognized from FRIDAY at sundown to SATURDAY at sundown.... Why then is there is Saturday / Sunday debate? The Bible says NO JEW should condemn NO GENTILE for keeping different Sabbath's or festivals. Why does it say this? Because of the New Covenant in Christ. In that covenant, it's NO LONGER neccessary to obtain salvation by keeping the old laws. That's what meant about the old covenant being obsolete. Many Sabbatarians argue that Christians think it means the old law has been destroyed.... no! The old law has been fulfilled by Christ. Armstrong didn't get this, now neither does Weinland. An atheist can see this truth by just reading the Bible.

I just hope that people who believe in what Armstrong taught come to realize that that man was as false as they come. And now, Weinland is just an Armstrong wannabee. His sermons and his writings MIRROR exactly what Armstrong taught.

What Weinland claims... well, it would be just like ME OR YOU following current events and trying to paste them to Bible prophecies... which is why Armstrong's prophecies were totally wrong. Remember, Herbert Armstrong made some WILD and haunting for many people-- predictions about end-time events and HIMSELF that were so crazy, it was not surprise that they didn't come to pass.

Most of the old members of the WCG actually believed that Armstrong WAS Elijah and would NOT die until Christ came back.... this is what Armstrong himself taught.

Just be careful. Armstrong was a false prophet and now Weinland is following in is footsteps-- or trying to.

To the best of my knowledge, the book does not say explicitly that the thunders will be 'complete' before the opening of the seventh seal. It does say that they will rumble before the opening of the seal and will continue all the way through till the return of Christ. The demise of the USA was never prophesied to occur before the opening of the seventh seal, but after.

I believe we will see far more thunders rumble before March 18th (I believe that's the 1290 day marker), and after that it will be far far more evident to all that we are in the end.

I have read the books and pretty much believe we are in the End Times. In today's (February 9, 2008) Sabbath Sermon, Ronald Weinland stated we are now 45 days from the opening of the Seventh Seal.

From the book 2008 God's Final Witness, The Seventh Seal was not to be opened until the Thunders of the Sixth Seal are complete with each thunder having events that bring about the Seventh Seal. One of the most astonishing events to take place was the demise of our country the Good Ole USA and all of its allies.

So now it appears (from today's sermon) that this will not take place.

Did you hear today's sermon? If you did, please give me some feedback.

...and in the mean time Larry, you just judged anyway and took God's place by saying and very clearly implying between your words (in context but not directly) that Ronald Weinland is wrong... I'm just saying since you said that God's time will be our judge... but it looks like you don't believe RW and thus in YOUR opinion NOT God's, took matters into your own hands to decide how he's going to be explaining "his" "lies" before any proof is given... Just in case, I do have faith whole-heartedly and no drop of doubt is within me, yet it seems you give doubt when RW is not a false prophet, BECAUSE, he HASN'T even been proved wrong...

Anyway, Larry you got two options...

1) Repent (Definition: changes your ways in Greek) and turn to God's ways and live on into the 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ and enter God's Family.

2) Don't repent, ignore what is the plain simple truth of God, follow your own ways and thus rejecting God and HIS truth not Ronald Weinlands, die and not LIVE in God's Family. Only to be reserected after 1000 years of Jesus Christs reign and be in a world where there is only ONE GOD, ONE truth, ONE true path. If completly rejected after so much rejection; well the second death is FOREVER and one does not live again from forever.

Mr. Weinland plainly states that by the fall of 2008 the USA would either have collapsed as a world power or have begun its collapse and no longer exist as an independent nation within 6 months after that time. He also gives a 6 month margin either way though he also said that the exact timing would be known shortly after the publication of his last book.
MY OPINION is that he is an utter sham and a LIAR. If the United States of America is still an independent nation and a world power by fall of 2009 then everything this man has claimed will be revealed as a total LIE. Timetables are a wonderful thing and in a short time we will know the truth. I only hope (though I doubt) that Ronal Weinland will stand as tall as he does today and continue to write books that explain to the world that he was wrong. God's time will be our Judge.

In an audio sermon, “Gods Prophecy, part 2” approximately 55 minutes into the sermon, Mr. Weinland discusses the 2nd end-time witness. God will give the identity of the 2nd witness during the last 3 and one-half year tribulation. He does not come out and specifically say who this witness is, but does infer that it is his wife. So, if Mr. Weinland’s wife is the 2nd witness, then she does not need to speak because Mr. Weinland is spokesman. He also claims that many scattered church members will not believe this to be true because they have preconceived ideas of how God works. A woman witness just does not fit into the equation. Yes, I agree Matt. I myself was a Catholic about a year and a half or so but have been doubting and trying to see through lies much longer than that, till I read Ronald Weinland and Herbert W. Armstrongs books. I have read from ludricous to completely "logical" and none of it ever really clicked or sank in, only truth can if one looks at it with a new pair of eyes from God because ours has been clouded with fear, wars and deception. If you're like me and virtually every human that has ever lived, we are accustomed to lies so much we come to accept it as truth. We can't tell when truth is looking at us straight in the face because we've never been subjected to it at full blast Nevertheless commanded to keep it, like now.

See, the thing is these books are very controversial anyway and opposite to the way man has lived for 6000 years for the most part. To see through the lies carried down through 6000 of years we must see what 99.9 % of the world through generations past didn't want to see or ignored. The Holy Bible has been carried down as an instruction manual to man from God, so to understand it we need to be of God and not of man to see our purpose of existing. He is not a human father he is the God, Almighty Father. Fortunately for you I'm human :) and can understand your doubts completly. It's normal at this point. My freind if you've read the The Prophesied End-Time and 2008-God's Final Witness and have seen the truth about hell that is good because so many people believe God is the type to torure which is outrageous. Any way, thanks for the words and I have faith in God and what he's doing with us, we are truly in great hands. I respect your choice in waiting to see what happens an wish you the BEST and hope this wasn't tooo long!

Herbert W. Armstrongs books explain our origin a lot better since Ronald Weinland pupose now is different then in Mr. Armstrongs time. God geared his church towards RESTORING the truths that were dying out in the "Sardis Era" of God's Church, (in Revelation 3:1-6) and into the "Philadelphia Era" (Revelation 3:7-13) that Herbert W. Armstrong was a part if.

The Weinland books are truly compelling and the first time has answered questions that have troubled me all of my life as a Christian eg how could God tolerate most of humanity spending eternity in hell. I am surprised such little discussion on Ronald Weinland appears yet on the internet and other media.

That we are so close to the end is completely surreal. I must admit I do not have the faith yet to completely accept 2008 as the start of the tribulation. I, like a lot of people (I suspect) are just waiting for events to unfold more convincingly before we are totally able to accept it.

Just wanted to add... I am glad for the truths revealed thru Herbert W. Armstrong and with the continuing prophet, Ronald Weinland. I see myself as part of the Church of God -PKG (the spiritual body of the church) and am currently writing this because I hope in my heart that someone who shares in God's truth (starting in the SABBATH!) read this and we can successfully communicate because sadly there are only a few who are being led by God to his truth. If you happen to be one of them please feel free to comment because I will be checking this site everyday to see a response. Here's hoping that even Ronald Weinland reads this because sending an e-mail to the COFG-PKG sends no response for a truly understandable reason that I fully comprehend, which is: we are rapidly approaching great times and I can imagine how much limited time we ALL HAVE! So I pray in faith that God keep blessing his people and guide us ever closer together to Him, Jesus Christ and his church in unity and harmony... Amen

(Those who don't beleive this you'll probably not be here but if you are please this is not a place to discuss opposition to the TRUTH that a small percentage on this earth can even begin to grasp and accept as REAL.
