A “walkabout” can be defined as “a brief, informal leave from work, taken by an Aborigine to wander the bush, visit relatives, or return to native life,” and this blog can best be described as a journal of my RUN-A-BOUT. The vehicle I have chosen for this “leave” are my feet. These runner’s feet are a living book of miles; blood blisters, calluses, missing and/or blackened toe nails--all badges I have earned making my way through this personal journey.
