Welcome to Russell’s Teapot. You may be asking yourself, “what’s with the name?” And a good question too. The title refers to an argument ventured by the philosopher Bertrand Russell who substituted a china teapot for God, arguing that such an analogy proves that the burden of proof for God’s existence lies with the believer. As Philosophy and Religion -and, of course, the union of the two- are two of my great passions, this title serves as a fine analogy for my intellectual pursuits, with the substance of this site serving as the content of Russell’s Teapot
